COMMENT: Having reviewed last week what is the most interesting thing you got from the week’s training on ‘strengths’:

  1. Being able to recognise your own strengths and building on them will help to improve productive thought and outcomes

  2. leveraging strengths utilises encrypted thought patterns and leads to outcomes which in turn releases happy neuron transmitters assisting us to be more productive and open to conscious thought.

  3. One of our biggest strengths needs to be being able to look at our strengths and realise that there are ways to improve of those strengths and make them even stronger.
    CVS – BVS.

  4. Learning that no strength is at it’s full potential and that there is always room for improvement.

  5. It is very interesting to see that everbody is different ,and that we all have different strengths. That is why I think that my organisation is such a positive enjoyable place to work as collectively with all these different strengths we are enriched on a daily basis- more than we may realise at times.

  6. Review all my strengths and move forward with the ideas I have come up with over the last questions and see if I can put a few into action .

  7. I think the most interesting thing I got out of this weeks training is that even though certain things are strengths, they can still be refined & improved. We tend to try to improve things we aren’t good at and just leave our strengths to be what they are. I think by trying to improve these strengths we can get even better at them and get more out of them quicker than if we try to improve on certain weaknesses.

For example. There is no point of Courtney Walsh working on his batting as he is a crab. He might as well just be the best possible bowler he could be! And a damn fine one he was!

  8. That identifying what you may be good can be difficult. I have always been taught in the past to look for what I am not so good at. It is also very beneficial to share these strengths with others. And get them to share their strengths with you. 360 deg feedback is very important.

  9. I have tried to play to my strengths this week after completing the last few questions.it has worked well and because I have been made aware of this I will continue to use this approach.

  10. Two things that I have learnt from the last week:
    – I enjoy spending time working on my weaknesses more than I do my strengths
    – I probably under utilise my strengths as I don’t focus on them
