Using ChatGPT/AI teaches to differentiate and improve your questions and lines of questioning. It is helping me have more meaningful conversations with people because with the speed and efficiency of ChatGPT I have improved my ability to ask “good” and “better” questions.
I think the ability to solve the “blank page” problem is really amazing. Using these ideas as a kick off point and being able to ask further questions. If there is a particular idea you want to flesh out – you could ask for research ideas. Or perhaps a quick, safe and fast test.
Remarkable
Another strength of using AI/ChatGPT is the jump deeper into the answers. For example with the 10 better suggestions, getting it to rank those 10 based on impact, or ease of use, young versus old, country X versus country y, and the like. If comes back to having a conversation with ChatGPT – a discussion about the answers. Fascinating!
The very act of doing a GBB can deepen your level of metacognition by generating viewpoints that you may never have considered. This, in turn, can help to refine the original question or create new questions.
Because the pool of information consulted is wide (and potentially stuff I may not have access to), it brings diversity and depth to the examination of the topic in question.
It can help you see your biases…..although I’m sure it has it’s own based on the trining it received.
It has a large data set to draw from so will generate more information and options than an individual thinker can create themselves
Another strength of using AI/ChatGPT, as previously mentioned, is that it can pull from the universe of information to synthesize solutions.
Another strength of ChatGPT is that it “keeps an open mind” exploring multiple possibilities, without limiting search or modifying reaction to new thought with the effect of preferring an earlier candidate idea. And, it can help us to do the same.
AI can apply GBB to an endless array of subjects, as its reference source is so large.
GBB has the potential for a progressively deeper level of individual metacognition and subsequent refining/sharpening/reshaping of the next question to enable a more fractal level of GBB depth of analysis.
