LEAVE YOUR THOUGHT: Those who complete all ten DFQs in this training will get a personalised Lateral Thinking Certificate from the School of Thinking. Usually reply with your own thoughtful answer to the question in around 25 words or so. There’s no ‘right’ answer. It’s meant to be a personal comment. Just leave your thought. This empowers me to question my thinking, in a way that isn’t threatening. I can now just ask myself – in a clinical way – is there a better view of the situation? Inherent in this, is the understanding that my brain is currently feeding me a CVS, all the time. I’m now more aware of that, and I can detach right and wrong from that.
That there is a moment where we as humans have a true choice. React without considering our choice (CVS) or look for alternatives (BVS). The pull is to go with CVS but BVS has limitless potential.
