I rely on my strengths without seriously working to improve them. I still take on projects that require more from me in my areas of weakness. Playing to the strengths versus weaknesses is not a balanced approach, but it is where I have had the greatest success.

I am happy that I worked with the “Perspective – wisdom” strength and I consider it is the most important for me in this moment of my life. I think I have lost somehow, somewhere the courage to speak from my wisdom. The exercise helped me a lot remembering about my lost (and now recovered) courage.
Thank you, Michael
Identifying my strengths and working on them. Historically I have spent more time working and identifying my weaknesses.
since I never learnt what my strength are as couldn’t get onto website I have no idea, but it is great to see so many people believing in themselves or trying to and that it is world over makes the fishbowl even bigger.
Build on strengths is a helpful lesson.
I am usually reluctant to look back and it is interesting to note that your request to reflect and share was met initally with resistance , but with some satisfaction afterward.
Intuitively I know my stengths and logically I should play to my strengths. Whenever I spend more time on weaknesses I feel more frustration and obtain poorer results.
The big (re)learning for me is to consciously build on my strengths and then to make it a habit to build on my strengths.
First that everybody has strengths and it’s amazing how many! And also one sentence of one of the participants struck me: “placing unconditional trust in appropriate others”. That we should trust some people unconditionally as long as they deserve that trust. It’s great to be surrounded by people who have a love for learning and improving themselves.
Having read through the other leadership trainees comments I can see how effective the idea of building on our strengths rather than focusing on trying to resolve weaknesses. I can see a pattern from one days comments to the next of a building on the strengths and it seems like more clarity about the strengths also appears. I know it has for me personally as well.
To focus on the my strengths produces a lot of positive feelings and makes me much more confident in everything I do.
It is amazing how all 5 strengths are kind of “interconnected” and dependent on each other in a wonderful way
And it encourages me to look primarily for the strengths in others and support them in the development and focus on their own strengths
The most important thing I have learnt on my strentgh was how I can strentghen them and make the best of of it. Infact the test help me to see face to face my love of learning which never occur to me however within the past week in reviewing it helps me to see my way clear .
