COMMENT: Having reviewed last week what is the most interesting thing you got from the week’s training on ‘strengths’:

  1. Until this week i was of the opinion that one has to work on improving ones weakness for self development. You have made me realise how importnat it is to know how many strengths I have and how progressive I can be by using them effectively.

  2. There is no way looking around the hindrances of success. I have to look at waht stands in the way of going forward!

  3. The most interesting thing I’ve received from this week’s training is the awareness that focusing on my strengths versus weaknesses is “foreign” and somewhat uncomfortable.

  4. I think the most interesting thing was to spend some time being introspective. We often spend so much of our time on work and others (both of which I actually enjoy), and it’s good to spend some time looking at myself, what my strengths are, and how I can build them.

  5. A challenge and motivation to create modest prudent & hopefull plans for the years ahead and have the persistence to carry them out.

  6. it is really easy to say “I’ll do this and this…” but to actually do it is the challenge for me.

It is also important to be able to feel the full spectrum of happy to sad or stengths to weaknesses otherwise it’s like trying to play only half the wave of a harmonic

  7. I not only learn from my strength but also from other people’s strengths and now want to improve further on my strengths. Thank you Michael, this training session is definitely worthwhile!

  8. I now realise how many strengths we all possess and it is good to remind ourself to focus on building our strengths and utilise them better.

  9. I noticed that I had to overcome a strong reluctance to build on my strengths – I seem to be programmed to work on my weaknesses, rather than strengths! I would also like to do some more work on identifying other strengths – I’m not convinced that the ones identified by Dr Seligman’s test are the most useful strengths for me to be working on.
