My view is that leadership thinking can be based on a simple formula of three imperatives:
Escape + Search = Think
Escape + Search = Think
Escape + Search = Think
DFQ #04:
Post your comment on how you think
ESCAPE + SEARCH = THINK might help
you to become a much better leader.

Repaetedly accepting another’s solutions as being a currently correct view
Then apply escape search think to find 10 BVS’s.
assist in looking at people & situations without blinkers.
in leadership you also need to constantly look for BVS in both the problems your team are working on and in the way you lead your team to get results from them.
we are constantly thinking of only our great idea which is perfect in every single way, and no magtter what anybody else says is better..
how wrong we are.. it is this unwillingness to acceot ideas, updates, patches, to our great ideas to make them better..
windows was very good when it started out.. but if bill gates thought that it was perfect and needed no more updating imagine where we would be now..
Just as we have being conditioned by repetition of what others want us to accept as the right and best way throughout our lives, we can change from our CVS by using the same concept of repetition to get our thinking to a BVS.
The formula ESCAPE + SEARCH = THINK, helps me always to go for BVS escaping from the trap of CVS, searching for the better alternative.

It is difficult, perhaps impossible to search for the BVSx10 without first escaping the CVS. How can you think outside the square if you stay stuck in the square.
e+s=t
This will help me become a better leader by helping me adapt and change. To look beyound the CVS and seek a BVS and help others leave a quagmire of inaction to action.
thinking would help me become better leader, because most people dont want to do it, besides they waver between two alternatives, ignoring that a third options does exist, and it may well be the best options for everyone
After years (yea decades) of living under the black hat world of Judeo-Christian black and white judgemental thinking model, the EST schema is a powerful tool to enable better thinking and problem solving.
Permission to ESCAPE from the CVS helps to break free of the normal constraints and gives the exhilaration of the journey to freedom (a BVS).
