#2 – Be judgmental

Easy instructions on how to use the Ten Mindful Emojis:

• Mindful emojis are always put at the beginning of the text message, not the end.

• A mindful emojis is a powerful thinking software for the brain. For example, the black hat emoji “BE JUDGMENTAL” is an algorithm for the deliberate use of judgmental thinking.

• Mindful emojis can be sent to yourself, others or groups.

Be Negative. Think inside the box. Use Black Hat thinking. Be conscious of the fact that you are being deliberately judgmental. Say why you think it’s wrong. Why it won’t work. Why it’s not true. Why you do not believe it or do not agree with it. Note that if you’re simply being emotional then that comes under another emoji.

Be judgmental.

DFQ: How can I be judgmental today?

Give an example of a text message or email you can send today and post your result. Remember, when you text, you can put the black hat emoji at the beginning of your message to show that you are deliberately being judgmental.

KEY STRATEGY: In these first ten lessons you will learn a simple but powerful algorithm called cvs2bvs that asks two main questions: What is the cvs? and What is the bvs? or What is the current view of the situation? and What is the better view of the situation?

cvs2bvs is also called The First Law of Thinking.

  1. How can our earth be created in just six days the Bible say as you told me yesterday how can that be I think of it . I think have another thought then we can discuss.

  2. (Black hat) Limiting your view of a service to how it is provided, rather than how it is used, is a blinkered approach that also limits the opportunities in improving the service.

While I was pleased we were able to get a practice training ‘walk’ in before our Oxfam 100km event in a couple of weeks, your tendency to say ‘sorry’ so often (almost with every second spoken word) I found disconcerting. You are either seeking my redemption or you’re not really sorry and are merely seeking to appease your own sense of guilt. Rather than apologise, if you think it needs contrition on your behalf, reflect more positively on the forebearance of the other. For example, ‘thank you for your patience while I take/make this work related call; or I am grateful that you waited for me.

  4. ?To learn mathematics, students need to have a picture. Without a picture it is testing their memory (rote)

  5. Memo to myself
All that politicians care about is to be re-elected and their own self interest. They are not interested in looking at long term solutions to problems unless there is also a short term gain for them.

  6. Email to self:

Injuries and deaths are just a consequence of infrastructure work. It has always been that way. The bosses want things done quicker, better, and safety gets a distant third. The unions hate the Engineers, the Engineers feel the workers cause the problems themselves and deflect any liability that comes up. There is no point trying to get them to help each other out. They are too far gone. Why bother.

  7. Round 2
I don’t have to be so judgemental about people. I always need to understand them and their situations , and also need to receive wisely their feedbacks, then I would form clear valuable opinions .

  8. The wedding party will last all night and tomorrow I’ll have a hangover before going to work. It should be on a Saturday, not Sunday!
