Lesson 27 TBD: Creating Value

Creating Value with AI

Two obvious points to make here:

1. Money isn’t everything. However, it’s a useful value measurement widely used in life. For many people today, just an extra $1000 a month will add great value to their family life.

2. There are other useful measurements that are also widely used in life. A measureable increase in these can also add great value in life. For example, adding new skills to your repertoire may add value to your life. Music. Dance. Cooking. Investing. Meditation. AI skills and so on.

Lesson 27 DFQ: CREATE: Choosing one of the four life strategies above – Health. Wealth. Productivity. Security – use what you have learned so far in AI to create x10 value today.

ACTION: We all have problems to solve and opportunities to explore. Think of a possible way to create value in your life, then prompt your AI with a GBB on your idea. Think about what you can harvest out of the results.

In around 25 words, post a thought about your ‘creating value’ action to complete this DFQ.

  1. Running ideas through a GBB takes emotional bias away whilst giving us time to take stock and evaluate so we can expand our understanding on our next steps forward. Wealth – better understanding better decisions based on bigger picture of finances at any given time. Smarter investment.

  2. I ran this prompt: ”10 points under GBB method, for the following: ”What are the benefits/disadvantages and solutions of keeping the organisational structure in a small /medium firm as flat, without management levels between partners and staff?”

This is a very real situation I am currently faced with at work. There is need for strategic direction for the future of individuals and the organisation. The GBB has created multiple valuable suggestions and clearly pinpointed the issues- opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses. The great part though, is that based on what was generated, I was able to produce a couple of additional ideas of my own, leading to (potentially) more ”value”. So, in fact value (from the GBB) led to even more value!

  3. My prompt regarding increasing my earning power as a Blockchain Security Expert, offered:

Good: Acquiring basic knowledge in blockchain security can make me a valuable asset to companies.

Better: Gaining advanced knowledge and certifications can set me apart from my peers.

Best: Establishing myself as a thought leader in blockchain security, can maimize my earning power.

  4. ChatGPT’s real strength is productivity. It’s like having your own secretary who will draft documents for you based on information and then you can give them a look over and polish them up.

  5. So far ChatGPT appears weak in the responses I get. Maybe it is due to GIGO but I have not really found value yet. The program seems like a language friendly search engine, not intelligent. I will continue to experiment but at this time it has not provided me any value add.

  6. I have recently been using ChatGPT to examine issues that I as a director of a successful company need to address in respect to implementing new systems and restructuring as the systems are implemented.

The ChatGP answers threw up a few alternatives that I would not have considered and laid out a process that seems fair to all concerned.

The next challenge is to move forward inclusively

  7. I used it for the topic of the speedy growth of an organisation and most of the suggestions were covered but it came up with some that I didn’t expect. Not coming from a particular person it should be seen as personality neutral.

  8. Using the GBB ChatGPT prompt I tested waters around my startup “brain software updating consultancy” ambition got useful information guidelines for structured thorough unbiased success assessment.

  9. This is not only about a list that may contain new ideas, but having a conversation with ChatGPT as part of a deeper dive into those ideas.

  10. I used it to create a prompt which would create persona profiles for topics I’m working on and need to test. The productivity increase here was easily 10x

A task that used to take a week took an hour. Of course I have to fact check everything but that is way easier than starting from scratch
