  1. The eyes…his grin…his round face…the clolour of his clothing and his headwear.

The fullness of his face and the twinkel in his eyes…

-Humour is always around, either genuine or sarky humour, taking the mickey or sharing a joke.

I listened to a colleague discuss a difficult situation with a customer and to lightened the mood he took ‘the piss’ out of the customer, he ended up chuckling away at the customer’s expense while not really solving anything!

It was his way of dealing with the stress or CVS2BVS…I do this often.

    Laughter relieves the tension….

  2. Looking at this man just makes you smile, because he looks so jolly. Perhaps reminds you of Santa Claus wihtout the beard, and who doesnt love Santa.

  3. Love the image, he has a jovial expression that makes me smile. Emotions are transefarable and contagious. Have a wonderful weekend!!’ Laugh and the world will laugh with you.

  4. Today we visited a friend who had open heart surgery a week ago, as well as a partially collapsed lung. He has had a difficult time and looked miserable when we arrived. In a little while he was made to laugh and as we talked he became more vocal and even though the visit wasn’t long, his face was more relaxed and his mind was stimulated. I believe he will recover more quickly the more he can laugh and talk.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 17:22, “A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.” NKJV

Sometimes I see humour during my own company as I go about my daily chores, but now, I will actually look for it. Maybe even create it.

  5. A little tongue in cheek goes a long way. I was told by a teacher in high school that I should be getting my face pressed everyday, but that it was the way that I said things with a bit of humour added in that was saving my butt. That is when I realized you can use humour to your advantage. Using humour gets my message across, without getting my face pressed. I like those results!

  6. Humour is one of my strenght. It helps simplify a seemingly hard situation. Through humours, you can empower anyone with faith. Even God is humourous!

  7. The picture is jovial because of the large size of the man, his unwordlyness and naivety.

  8. Humour has been my most powerful tool in managing teams of consultants. The more dire or stressful the situation, the more powerful the impact of humour in disarming this stress and freeing up thinking to get the job done.

  9. I used humor to change my mood when thinking about a broken relationship. This helped me stop being sad and gave me a new perspective on things like lessons I learned from the relationship.
