In today’s world there are BIG issues of privacy and security. Your own privacy. Your own security is at constant risk in the crackling chaos of the bot internet of fake people, fake clicks, fake sites, and fake computers–the 24/7/365 whirling, howling, cacophonous wilderness of the greedy grasping global marketplace with its siren songs, fake news, ferocious fads and hoaxes, toxic wastes and vicious moods, its callous explosions, its greedy bots, its viral plagues and epidemics and cruel and sudden extinctions.

If you don’t do your own thinking others will do it for you. There’s no guarantee that these other people, institutions or authorities will do it well at all … or even in your best interests.

Do be careful.

  1. – Don’t put too much family stuff online,
    – Indicate where you are after you’ve left,
    – Watch reflection in pictures that could give too much away.

  2. Be careful who you accept as connection / friend on social media
Be careful and click only on links that you trust are from trusted source
I am also careful nowadays not to trust all news especially online and try to find if the source , origin is authentic

  3. You are building a great little business online. However, you are solely based on one digital platform – what if that platform denies you access for some reason in the future? How can you monetize other streams of income on different platforms?

  4. ? Consider being a ‘passive’ social media user. That is, don’t post or like other posts. Your behavior will therefore not be monitored by a third party looking to target you.

  5. Take the initiative and own your own destiny. For example, make decisions at work instead allowing others to make them for you.

  6. email to client
In business don’t completely trust anyone. Make sure that you always have a backup.

  7. Email to self:

If I make this change, will I make things worse? Of course there is risk, the unknown. Here are all the things that I think could go wrong. Now, here are all the things I can do to protect myself.

  8. Emoij – to self
Losing or forgetting my passowrds has been a huge nuisance. When resetting passwords I now try to make it diffcult to replicate but that can be remember for access by me and I now have an App that enables me to be able to gain access the key passwords.

  9. Be aware. Beware. Critically pay attention to things that might pose danger and put in place alarms/warnings/signals. Take prompt precipitate action on alarm/warning/signal.
