1100, 11.11.11

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old

Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We shall remember them.

Lest We Forget.

Remembrance Day (11 November) marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914—18). Each year Australians observe one minute silence at 11 am on 11 November, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.

  1. The photo reminds of my responsibility to assist my young grandchildren to learn all they possibly can about history and the terrible sacrifices past generations paid so we may enjoy freedom, self determination and the opportunity to live rich full lives.

  2. to live the way we do
to determine our own futurees through our elected leaders
    was achieved at tremendous cost

We owe those who fought and those that fell a debt that can never be repaid
