While in Sri Lanka recently, working with Marie Stopes International, the Founder, Dr Tim Black CBE, introduced me to TED. Tim said, “I promised to send you the details of the TED–Technology Entertainment Design–web site that I think you should contribute to. See for example the brilliant talk by Sir Ken Robinson on creativity .”

Each year, TED hosts some of the world’s most fascinating people: Trusted voices and convention-breaking mavericks, icons and geniuses. The talks they deliver have had had such a great impact, we thought they deserved a wider audience. So now – with our sponsor BMW and production partner WNYC/New York Public Radio we’re sharing some of the most remarkable TED talks with the world at large.   1. I do feel there is a lot of truth to what Ken said about creativity becoming lost in individuals by the time they are finished school.

    Fortunately for those still able to frame questions within themselves, all that conditioning and the resultant experiences are only contrast for the purpose of creating…..
