I like the term “escape from my point of view” to see others. The “escape” reinforces the fact that it does take concerted effort to release oneself away from current point of view before it is possible to see other points of view. I also like Michaels comment on saving time for thinking. In day to day lives, we can find excuses not to, but he emphases the importance of this portion of the day.
