Google Smashes U.S. Search Market Share Record, Closes in on 70%

In October, Google smashed its own search engine market share record, accounting for 66.9 percent of all searches conducted in the U.S., comScore reported. Microsoft’s Bing also had a record month, hitting a less spectacular though still noteworthy 16 percent share.

  1. This means that information is in demand and flows freely. Question is whether knowledge becomes enhanced by this flow, as knowledge emerges as a consequence of internalization of information.

  2. An interesting website of the future however is Amazon as it has millions of credit card details of its customers – purchasers ready to buy; which is what the companies want (think of google ads – the way Google makes money)
